Paid each shoot date — there is no season-long commitment, so you can come to the ones that fit your schedule.
Youth 3D Archery is our Friday-night league for archers up through age 16, and for a lot of families it is the reason they first walk through the door. Sixteen 3D targets are set through the indoor range, and the shoot runs in two distance classes — a 10-yard maximum class for newer and younger archers and a 20-yard maximum class for those ready to stretch out. Nobody is asked to shoot past what they can hold.
Because it is indoors, the season runs straight through the worst of a West Virginia winter: same lighting, same temperature, same targets, every Friday from mid-January to mid-March. Warm-up opens at 5:30pm and the shoot starts at 6:30pm.
The fee is $10 per shoot date, paid at the door. There is no season-long registration and no penalty for missing a week — come to the dates that fit around school and sports. The season closes on March 13 with awards and a pizza party.
New to this? You do not need to arrive as an experienced archer. If your child does not have equipment yet, or you are not sure the fit is right, call ahead and we will get them set up and pointed in the right direction before the first Friday. Our archery instruction is a good place to start.
